Did you get a new Samsung mobile phone and want to transfer all of your data from your old phone to the new one? You can do this easily by following some quick steps.

Samsung to Samsung

1. First, make sure the Smart Switch app is installed on both phones, and plug them into their chargers.
2. When you’re ready, place the phones within 4 inches of each other.
3. Launch Smart Switch on both phones.
4. Tap Send data on the old phone, tap Receive data on the new phone, and then tap Wireless on both phones.
5. On your new phone, you may have to select the type of your old phone. Follow any on-screen instructions, since some types of devices may have additional steps.
6. Next, complete the connection by tapping Allow on the old phone.
7. On your new phone, choose the content you want to move, and then tap Transfer.
8. Once the transfer is complete, tap Done on the new phone and you’re good to go.

Any Android to Samsung

1. First, make sure the Smart Switch app is installed on both phones, and plug them into their chargers.
2. When you’re ready, place the phones within 4 inches of each other.
3. Launch Smart Switch on both phones.
4. Tap Send data on the old phone, tap Receive data on the new phone, and then tap Wireless on both phones.

6. Next, complete the connection by tapping Allow on the old phone.
7. On your new phone, choose the content you want to move, and then tap Transfer.

iPhone to Samsung

1. Launch Smart Switch on the new Galaxy phone, and then tap Receive data.
2. Tap Wireless, and then tap iPhone/iPad.
3. Enter your Apple ID and password, and then tap Sign in.
4. Enter the verification code, and then tap OK.
5. Select the data you want to transfer, tap Import, and then tap Import again.

Note: iTunes music and videos cannot be transferred from iCloud.
