Card Linked Bundle Payments Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions were last updated on the 08th of July 2024.  

Card-Linked Bundle Payment, hereinafter being referred to as ‘the Payment Facility is a facility which GO p.l.c. (‘GO’) is providing You with to facilitate in-app purchases. 

Access to the Payment Facility is subject to the following terms and conditions. By making use of the Payment Facility, youare agreeing to all of these terms and conditions, without modification. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please do not make use of the Payment Facility. 
 

The Payment Facility: 

The Payment Facility offers clients the opportunity to be able to purchase and renew eligible bundles directly by using a Debit or Credit card within the GO Application (‘the App’), without the need to have or top-up with prepaid credit beforehand.  

General: 

The Payment Facility is only available through the App. To make use of the Payment Facility, You must identify yourself using your correct login details. You warrant that the information which you provide to GO is your personal information and is complete and correct and undertake to inform GO without delay of any changes to any such information. 

You are responsible for inserting the correct bank card details.  Erroneous bank card details and payments will be reported to law enforcement authorities and legal action will be taken in the case of fraud.   

If You are younger than 18 years of age, You should seek the guidance of Your parent/s or guardian/s prior to making any in-app purchases 

If You are a parent or guardian of a minor, You are responsible for the in-app purchases made and consumed by the minor over whom You enjoy care and custody. 

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Your Service and access to the App if we suspect any fraudulent activity or anomalous use.  

To be able to amend certain Payment Facility and Service details such as your bank card details, you can do so through the App.  

By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge and agree that:  

  1. As the registered user (Owner) of the MyGO account, you are responsible for your account and will keep the password secure, not let it become known to third parties and will not store it anywhere on a computer in plain text.  
  1. If the password becomes known to any other unauthorised user, you will either change the password by using the facilities provided by GO on-line or inform GO immediately.  
  1. Other terms & conditions that apply to the Pay As You GO tariff plans for Mobile Service are applicable to ‘the Service’. Moreover GO shall have the right to set limits in terms of ‘the Service’ and its features.  
  1. ‘The Service’ will not function if the GO number being used to purchase an eligible prepaid / hybrid bundle is not yet active or has been blocked. The Service will be active again once the SIM card is reactivated or a new SIM card is activated with the same number.  
  1. GO will use its best endeavours to provide a prompt service as described in these Terms and Conditions, but will not be liable for any failed bundle purchase/ renewal due to technical failure, or other issues. GO reserves the right to refuse to provide ‘the Service’ without a need to provide a reason for its decision.  
  1. GO reserves the right at any time to modify the Terms and Conditions and modify, suspend or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without prior notice. GO processes personal data in line with the GDPR and Data Protection Act (2018) and any applicable legislation. Personal data provided to GO will be kept in confidence and processed in order to render and/or improve the service you have requested. Personal data shall not be transferred to any third party unless requested by you or permissible according to the law. You have the right to require access to your personal data as well as the right to rectify, or, in appropriate circumstances, erase any inaccurate, incomplete or immaterial personal data processed by GO

DEFINITIONS 

When purchasing an eligible prepaid / hybrid bundleyou will receive an SMS signifying the success or failure of the purchase.    

Payment: 

Payment of the service is effected through the Debit/ Credit card details provided by you upon use of the Service. During the electronic registration process, or whenever changing your payment card details, the registered payment card will be charged €0.01 as part of the payment card verification process. It is the owners’ responsibility to inform their respective bank immediately in the event that your payment card is stolen or invalidated.  

In addition to the price of the bundle, you will always be informed of any additional charges such as Excise Tax before payment is confirmed.

Eligibility: 

To be eligible for ‘the Service’, you must: 

  • Have a MyGO account; 
  • Be the legitimate owner of the Debit or Credit Card used to register to the Service; 
  • Have a GO Mobile Service; and 
  • Be on a pre-paid Pay as You GO Planor a GO Hybrid Tariff Plan. 

You can only use the Service to purchase eligible prepaid / Hybrid bundles on mobile numbers registered on GO’s network.  

If the payment card is invalid or payment does not go through or is unsuccessful for any reason, we will not re-attempt the payment and the bundle will not be purchased or renewed. GO cannot be held responsible for any temporary loss of service or benefits that would be lost.   

If the payment card is deleted before the expiration date of the eligible Pre-paid / Hybrid bundle and is not replaced with a new payment card, the bundle will not automatically renew, even if you have sufficient Pre-Paid Mobile credit. GO cannot be held responsible for any benefits that would be lost.  

If you do not wish to to be charged for future recuring bundles via the Service, you can remove your payment card from the App or stop the bundle by sending the relevant SMS command.

Refund policy: 

GO has a ‘No refund’ policy, except in instances where the company observes the law in allowing a ‘cooling off’ period. GO reserves the right to examine each claim for refunds, submitted in writing, on a case-by-case basis and may issue refunds in instances it deems fit.   

Information security 

GO makes every effort to ensure customer confidentiality when securing on-line payments. This includes ensuring the security of your credit card details and other personal information and the use of encryption to protect the communication and/or transaction.   In order to process payments made by you via this App, GO makes use of the payment portal APCO.  The privacy notice of this payment portal can be accessed here
