GO TV Recommendations Giveaway Competition (‘the Competition’)

This competition is owned and operated by GO p.l.c. (‘GO’)

Access to the benefits of the Competition is subject to these Terms and Conditions. By participating in the Competition, you are agreeing to all of these Terms and Conditions, without modification.  If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not participate in the Competition.

This Competition is open between the 18^th January 2022 and the 22^nd February 2022.

Rules to participate:

• Participants must be 18 years of age.
• Participants must be lawfully residing in the Republic of Malta.
• Participants must like the GO TV Recommendations Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/gotvrecommendations
• Participants must like & share the competition post;
• Participants must tag at least two of their friends in the Competition post comment section.
• The Competition is open for non-GO and GO customers.  However, only GO registered customers with a TV service are eligible to win the Grand Prize. A non-GO customer will be eligible to claim the Grand Prize after successfully applying for a TV service with GO.
• Only one (1) entry per Participant is permitted.

Each week, three (3) Participants will be randomly selected and shall receive a Weekly Prize. The Weekly Prize shall be a Movies & Series GO TV Pass subscription valid for 12 months.

One (1) winner will be randomly selected and rewarded with the Grand Prize. The Grand Prize shall be a Philips 50’ Ultra HD Android LED TV

The Grand Prize winner will be selected and contacted between 23^rd February 2022 and 28^th February 2022

Winners will be contacted by GO’s representative through a private message on Facebook.

To claim the Prizes, the winning Participants must present a valid identity document or passport.  GO reserves the right not to assign the Prize/s in the event that there is a mismatch between any of the personal details in the identity document and the online form.

In the event that the Prize/s specified become unavailable for any reason outside of GO’s control, GO may, but shall not be obliged to, substitute a prize of like or equal value.

By participating, Participants grant GO exclusive permission to retain, store and use their personal data, including their names, characters, photographs, voices and likeness in connection with the Competition and waive any claims to remuneration, howsoever defined, for such use. Furthermore, by accepting the Prize/s, winning Participants agree to participate in and co-operate as required with all reasonable public relations (including any media related) requests relating to the Prize/s, including but not limited to, being interviewed and photographed, filmed and/or chaperoned. Any winning Participant waives any claim for compensation from GO for such public relations and the use of any media taken or for any time required for such participation. Winning Participants must also be willing to wear any accessories as required for photographs and other public relations (including media) related events as required.

No cash or credit alternatives will be offered in connection with the Prize/s.  The Prize/s or any unused portion thereof, are not transferable or exchangeable for any other goods or services and cannot be redeemed for cash.

GO (including employees of any GO p.l.c. subsidiary) employees and their immediate families cannot take part in this Competition.

GO reserves the right to stop any benefit resulting from any known or suspected abuse and/or misuse of this Competition and/or non-observance of these Terms and Conditions.

GO processes and retains personal data in line with the applicable data protection and retention legislation in force in Malta.  By participating in this Competition, Participants grant GO consent to be contacted for any reason in connection with the Competition.

This Competition is in no way associated with, sponsored, endorsed or administered by any other third party, including but not limited to Facebook and Instagram.  By participating in this Competition Participants acknowledge that they are providing information to GO and not to any other third party.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GO will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury and/or loss of life as a result of the Competition, the Participant’s entry, the production of the video production, the Prize/s or the winning thereof and/or any public relations (including media) related events associated therewith.

Each participant acknowledges and agrees that GO’s only obligation in connection with the Giveaway shall be that of delivering the Prize.

This Competition and all matters relating to it shall be governed, construed and take effect in accordance with the laws of Malta, without giving effect to principles of conflict of laws, and the Courts in Malta shall be vested with the exclusive competence and jurisdiction to determine any dispute arising therefrom.

These terms and conditions have been drafted in the English language and the English text shall be regarded as the authoritative text. If these terms and conditions are translated into any other language, any ambiguity or disagreement that may arise shall be resolved by reference to the English text.

Your Agreement

These terms and conditions should be read in conjunction with the GO TV Terms and Conditions, and any other applicable terms and conditions. In the event of any conflict between these terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall prevail.  These terms and conditions form an integral part of Your Agreement for the provision of the Service with Us.

We reserve the right to stop, suspend, amend or otherwise alter this Prize, the applicable charges and any benefits derived through it, as well as these terms and conditions, in accordance with applicable laws. Unless otherwise stated, this will not affect the rest of Your Agreement with Us.

The Offer

This Prize is provided by GO p.l.c (‘GO’).

The ‘Free Movies & Series Pass Competition Prize (the ‘Prize’) is a Prize made available on the GO TV service provided by Us.

If You are not a GO TV customer We will also provide You with one (1) TV Stream including Start TV with this Prize.

The free Movies & Series Pass including the TV Stream are for a twelve (12) month period.

This Prize is regulated by its terms and conditions. When taking this Prize You are agreeing to all the terms and conditions found in this Agreement. If You do not agree with these terms, You should not take-up this Prize.

Explanation of the Offer

Unless otherwise stated, all charges quoted in this document are inclusive of VAT.

Monthly Fee:

The Prize applies for Movies & Series Pass including one (1) TV Stream for a period of 12 months.

Once the prize duration expires, the standard monthly price for the Movies & Series Pass and TV Stream as listed in clause B.6.b will immediately become applicable.

Unless otherwise stated, this Prize shall not be available in conjunction with any other offer.

You may be required to pay additional charges if You opt for specific billing or payment methods. Further details are available in clause K of the GO TV Terms and Conditions.

Other Important Terms

If You are already a GO TV customer We will add the Movies & Series Pass to Your current service.

Should You not wish to remain subscribed to the GO TV service after the expiry of the free prize duration, You must contact Us prior to the expiry of the prize duration.

Should You not inform Us of Your intention to terminate the GO TV service before the expiry of the free prize duration, then the standard price stipulated in Clause B.6.b. will apply. This charge will be added to Your bill.

For the avoidance of doubt, if You are already an existing GO TV customer You are entitled to terminate the Movies & Series Pass at any time. Should You wish to terminate the GO TV Service, the Bundle Terms and Conditions remain applicable.

You may stop the prize at any time.
