Moving to Malta
15 January 2021
We started off the year with an initiative that is quite close to our hearts-helping animals in need. We all know that 2020 has been quite a difficult year and has thrown most people into complete isolation resulting in many animal adoptions. Therefore, we decided to donate funds to the MSPCA to help animals in need.
Before we get going with our initiative, we just want to say that we believe animals are life-long commitments so please consider everything before adopting a fur baby. Ok enough of the heavy stuff, let’s get back to the initiative!
So how is this going to work?
From 18th January till 18th February, GO is going to donate funds to the MSPCA based on the amount of new users that download the GO app. By just downloading the GO app and logging in, you will be contributing to the livelihood of the animals in need (we’ve mentioned them below! Go take a look).
We paired this initiative with the GO app downloads because the app has so many beneficial features and discounted mobile bundles! So we joined the two to have happy dogs and happy customers.
You can use the GO app to:
Once you install the app on your phone, you can use the same login credentials as your MyGO!
Haven’t set up your GO app yet?
No problem! Follow these steps and it shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes of your time. Click on “Create a new account”, enter your email address, preferred username and your name, and you will then receive an email verification where you would be able to create a new password. In the next steps, you will be able to link your mobile service and your billing accounts.
Here are the profiles of the MSPCA rescues you’ll be helping out by just downloading and using the GO app:
Hi, I’m Hunter! I’m a 1-year-old black and white pointer looking for my forever home. I was left abandoned on the streets right before Christmas, hungry with no one to love me. Luckily a very nice family found me, took me off the streets and fostered me. Now I’m at the MSPCA who are looking after me until I find the right parents for me. I have been neutered and vaccinated and in a few days I’ll be ready to go on walks with my new friends. All I’m looking for is a family who will love me- I’m gentle giant and if you love to play ball and go on walks, then I’ll be the perfect companion for you!
Hi, I’m Jerry and I’m an 8 month old ginger kitten. I was found on the streets just like my friend Hunter and I caught a very bad cold because I had no one looking after me which left me with just one eye. Having one eye doesn’t stop me from being a lovable and playful kitty though. At MSPCA they call me the one-eyed beauty.
Hi, my name is Hopper. I am a mixed breed, half pointer and half beagle mix. I came to the MSPCA to find another home. It’s not easy getting adopted when you’re as shy as me. I take time to warm up to people because I get a little frightened sometimes. I have seen a lot even though I am only 3 years old and I am looking forward on having a full and happy life. Once I get used to humans, I’m sure we’ll become best friends and I will not leave their side. I absolutely love treats and also know a few tricks which I will happily do in exchange for a few treats. My favourite game is playing with a tennis ball, I also love playing catch and hop, perhaps that’s why they called me Hopper!
Hi I am Atos, and I’m only 3 months old. I am very playful and friendly and love to give plenty of kisses! I love playing with my brothers and get into all sorts of trouble. I also love to go on adventures with people and cuddle with them on the sofa.
Hi, I am Portos – Atos’ brother. I’m 3 months old. I came here with 2 of my brothers. We are fox terrier mixes and full of energy! I have to admit, I am the trouble maker out of us all because I am always looking for a new adventure. I love to play and run around after anything that moves and I find everything amusing. A little warning to whoever is willing to adopt me – please beware of my tail, it will not stop wagging!
Hi my name is Edmond. I’m still a baby even though I look like a baby lion. They call me a domestic long-haired. I love to play with all sorts of toys but my favourite toy is the fish rod. I have a beautiful coat that I am very proud of, so please make sure you give me plenty of compliments! I have a small body but please do not let that confuse you, as I have the heart of a lion.
